Are you a Physician Considering Coaching?
You’ve likely seen immense change in the healthcare industry that may have caused you to be burned out, need more balance, or desire to blaze a new trail as a transformational leader. Are you a physician considering working with a coach to:
- Accelerate your leadership and influence skills?
- Enhance your career potential or make a career shift?
- Pursue an entrepreneurial idea?
- Find more balance in life?
- Get back that career joy you once had?
3 Reasons Our Coaching Empowers You to Achieve What you Want
Self-trust. It all starts with trusting and believing in yourself. Our research, assessments and practice working with hundreds of global leaders shows change best occurs through first elevating trust (also the #1 variable in high-performing teams). It starts with having self-trust, then being trustworthy, and finally trusting and believing in others to accomplish a goal.
Proven science-based change process. Our theoretically grounded process developed over the last 40 years has proven to help people (along with teams and organizations) achieve change and accelerate the achievement of goals. We start with your values and establishing awareness and vision, and we end with reflection and celebration (with a few things in between). It is also the basis of our book I-TRUST that will be published in 2019. There's a lot of science to effective coaching. We enjoy learning about the neuroscience of coaching and the research/science of developing trust in individuals, teams and organizations.
Heart. If your goals or changes you're looking to make were easy, you wouldn't need a coach. If you're out to achieve something difficult or ambitious, working with a coach that believes in heart and science is helpful. It's amazing how questions, reflection, mindfulness, and conversation help us achieve meaningful change and goals. We often know what we want to do - or should do - but being intentional with a coach/mentor helps us remove obstacles and stay persistent. Virtually everyone feels vulnerable at times. Helping people leverage their values and strengths, and be authentic is powerful. It's inspiring to see someone experience the benefit of change - through new thinking about themselves, ideas, and others - to accomplish something significant.
I suppose every generation says there's a lot of change, but we say it's increasing, and the more support and knowledge we have to get through whatever challenges we face - or opportunities we're striving for - the better.
What goal or challenge will you achieve next in work or life? What could 2019 bring?
